    The Caribbean Red Habanero is a classic habanero with a Scoville rating of 300,000 to 445,000.  It has the classic habanero taste but a little hotter than the orange variety.  The plants get about 30 inches high and mature in about 90 days.  The fruit is about 1 to 2 inches in size. Rare seeds only have 12 per packages.

    Hatch Heirloom Peppers are extremely popular roasted. They look like Anaheim but are lighter in color. Hatch Peppers originate from New Mexico and are used for enchilada sauce. The meat is thick and flavorful. The plants get a kind of large and can put out lots and lots of peppers at once.  The peppers will mature red and often get 6 to 8 inches in length. The Scoville is a manageable 14,000 to 30,000.

Fruit is 3-5 inches long.

The compact bush puts out 100’s of inch long hot peppers.  They were originally created by the New Mexico State University. Great as an ornamental with purple leaves and flowers.
