The New England Sugar Pie Pumpkin is a 100 days heirloom. The pumpkins don’t get very big but have a lot of flavor. The orange fruit weigh 4-5 lbs. and have fine, sweet flesh that is superb for pies. Described by Fearing Burr in 1863. This pumpkin puts out several per vine and takes very little maintenance.
Pumpkins keep well for later use. These pumpkins are also fun for kids to paint and enjoy for the holidays.
